The Laughing Rainbow
In 1987 a circle of planetary healers from all over the world made a momentous journey to Lyme Regis in the UK, to work with the spirit wisdom of a native born British Shaman. The gift each one of them brought with them was a lifelong commitment to the work of transforming their own egoic and leaden consciousness into pure gold awareness.
The spirit teachers, the golden beings, made it very clear that the way to planetary healing was for each one of the group to pursue his or her enlightenment, and support each other in doing so. This intrepid and wildly creative circle of planetary healers, meditators and visionaries blossomed into what is today known as the Laughing Rainbow Mystery School. Chetna Lawless co-founded this unique circle.
Over the past two decades the Laughing Rainbow Mystery School has channeled, developed and refined two major bodies of spiritual work. They are known as The Earth Chords and The Colour Rays. Both these areas of profound teaching include practices, tools, initiations, ceremonies and close collaboration with a set of teachers, The Masters of the Stations and The Colour Ray Masters, who are ushering in the enlightened wisdom of the ancient Atlantian, Egyptian, and Taoist Mystery Schools. Their teachings have gone through an evolutionary process that has taken aeons, and are being gifted to us now, with unconditional love, to help us meet the challenges that we, on our planet, face today.
The work is keenly focused on ‘allowing’ individual enlightenment, to help each of us in the process of us becoming clear light channels, and becoming a ‘hollow bamboo’ for the divine. For as we heal ourselves, and experience and express our divinity, we heal the world. Our beloved planet has always been an expression of healing and life force in flow. It is the people upon her who continue to create the imbalances, the blockages, the disharmonies.
The circle in Lyme still works together today, deepening the planetary healing which they have been engaged with, all over the world, for over two decades. And as the spiritual, creative and sacred adventures of the Laughing Rainbow Mystery School continue to evolve and develop, the spirit teachers have given permission for the work of one of the areas, The Colour Rays, to be made available to the wider public. They have decided that the time has come to share this work with those who are open and ready to embrace these divine gifts.
With the Colour Athenaeum Chetna begins the joyous mission of reviving the most extraordinarily beautiful and powerful tradition of the healing colour temples, and introducing the world to awesome partnerships, creative collaborations, intimate and enduring friendships, and unconditional love with the truly beloved and magnificent Colour Ray Masters.

The Colour Rays
The Colour Ray Masters share their impeccable wisdom with humour and grace as they pour healing and insights into the shadowy nooks and crannies of our beings, enticing us to stand fully in our own power. They celebrate with us as we embody the new paradigms, bring in the new frequencies, and relinquish the old ways of being. It is my greatest joy to share this beautiful work with you.
Light is energy, and colour is light vibrating at different wavelengths. Within the rainbow spectrum innumerable rays, of varying shades and hues, exist. Each ray has its own specific frequency and we are continually absorbing these colour vibrations. Used consciously, they can touch, move and heal our bodies, minds and souls.
The ancient Egyptians knew this and built healing temples of light where people were bathed in specific colours to alleviate imbalances in body and soul. This wisdom, lost for millennia, is now being reintroduced to us.
The Colour Rays currently comprise of 126 Colours, each touching an aspect of our psychological, emotional and spiritual experiencing. There are 6 Bands, each made up of 21 Rays; each band carries a different flavour and focus.

Meeting the Colour Ray Masters
As you can imagine, getting to know all 126 Masters is a lifetime’s work. And there are many ways to start working with the Colour Rays. However, the most comprehensive initiation into the world of the Colour Ray Mansion is the Colour Athenaeum.
The Colour Athenaeum
This is an 8-week online home-study course during which you will meet and get and work with the teachers of one particular band: 21 Colour Ray Masters. You will work in circle, connecting with the rest of the group via a bi-weekly online call. You will be guided through various initiations, including studying your personal Colour chart, which is channeled for you, making ceremonial regalia, giving and receiving Colour essence retrievals and healing journey work. And you will be prepared for bi-annual face-to-face gathering in which the ancient Colour Athenaeum Healing Temple will be re-created: this is an extraordinary and very special ceremony.

Order a Colour Chart
Colour Charts are channeled for you individually. They reflect your strengths and challenges. They reveal the Colour frequencies with which you are akin and aligned by birth. They accurately pin point light frequencies that are blocked at present and preventing you from fully embodying your divine grace. To begin with, we suggest a Mauve Band Chart. The Masters of the Mauve Band are particularly adept helping people move through heavy and difficult emotional states.
